Margot Krehbiel, LMT (she/her)

I’m proud to have graduated from East West College of the Healing Arts right here in Portland, Oregon in spring of 2025. My bodywork comprises Swedish and Deep Tissue modalities as well as Tuina (traditional Chinese massage) and myofascial techniques. Instead of offering different massage modalities at various price points, I design your massage treatment with a cross of modalities according to the needs shared in our intake conversation.

The embodying power of therapeutic touch changed my life for the better. My experience as a trans woman informs my client-first, trauma-sensitive bodywork. I do not try to “fix” my client. I do put intention into choosing my tools for bodywork, honoring the client’s needs over ego. I do not practice massage according to a notion of what it “should” be; I do imagine what massage can be for you. As a bodyworker, I simply facilitate the change your body creates.

I also offer sessions in Craniosacral Therapy, a gentle system of bodywork originating with the Cherokee and Shawnee peoples. CST is a very different experience from a traditional massage and can yield profound benefit to the nervous system. It can be performed on a fully-clothed client and the work is usually done with the client lying face-up or semi-reclined. If you’re curious to learn more about Craniosacral Therapy, please ask!

I hope to see you soon.
